Geospatial Science at USP
Laucala. Theme: Where Culture Meets Excellence.
A three-year prescribed degree in SAGEONS — the School of Agriculture, Geography, Environment, Ocean and Natural Sciences. Two pathways: Geospatial Analyst and Geospatial Developer.
The programme
Bachelor of Geospatial Science
24 courses over three years. You take one pathway. Course lists and regulations are in the official handbook — use that, not this page, for enrolment advice.
- Geospatial AnalystApply GIS and remote sensing to a problem, then communicate it on a map.
- Geospatial DeveloperThe same core, with more information systems in years two and three.
USP also offers a Certificate and a Diploma in Geospatial Science. Teaching labs at Laucala include the Catalina Geospatial Lab and the Sunderland Flying Lab, plus a research lab and an operations lab for survey gear and drones.

Year 13
The prospectus asks for a pass (50% or above) in Year 13 English, Mathematics, and two other subjects. Confirm against the current handbook before you apply.
